PCI on Dialog
PCI on Dialog can be searched using classic Dialog or through various web interfaces provided by Dialog.
DialogClassic Web allows Information Professionals, and other experienced searchers, to obtain the most accurate search results possible using Dialog’s sophisticated command language. Current awareness searches, or searches that are run regularly, can be set up to run automatically using the Dialog Alert facility. The classic command language is also available using DialogLink, a free desktop application available for download from Dialog. PCI is available as file 342.

DialogWeb offers both a robust Command Search mode that uses the powerful Dialog command language, and a flexible and easy-to-use Guided Search mode that does not require knowledge of commands. All databases on Dialog are accessible through DialogWeb.
PCI on STN®
PCI on STN can be searched using the powerful STN command language. STN offer their own free-of-charge desktop software, STN Express with Discover!™ which is designed to assist Information Professionals, and other experienced searchers, to obtain the most accurate search results possible. Current awareness searches, or searches that are run regularly, can be set up to run automatically using the STN SDI facility.

STN Easy® which gives less experienced users point-and-click access to more than 90 databases.
PCI within the Derwent Innovations IndexSM
Derwent Innovations Index merges value-added patent information from Derwent World Patents Index® with patent citation information from Patents Citation Index. Derwent Innovations Index also gives you the option to search related scientific literature through citation links to the Web of Science®.
This unique data set is accessed through an intuitive, user-friendly interface, allowing the user to browse easily between patent records, without having to learn and remember a complicated search language.
