A concise description of the entire Web site highlighting major content
features. This element is written by the Thomson Scientific Web Content
Editor. |
| Keywords: |
A list of terms that describe the subject-specific nature of the Web site's
content. Keywords are created by Thomson Scientific Web Content Editors
and are continually added to a growing thesaurus. Spelling variations are
included for an international audience. |
| Author: |
The creator of the site as identified by the Thomson Scientific Web Content
Editor, according to information contained within the site. If no author
is identified on the site, this information will not appear in the full
record. |
| Publisher: |
The organization that is identified as the copyright holder for the content
of the site. If this is not available directly on the site, the domain registrant
is taken to be the publisher. |
| Language: |
The language(s) used in the site. |
| Type: |
The nature or specific kind of information contained on the site. Examples
might be databases/databanks, educational materials, simulations, meeting
abstracts, etc. |
| Format: |
Specific electronic formats used on the Web site. Examples might be HTML,
PDF, MPG, search engine, site map, etc. |
| Provider: |
General description of the sponsoring institution(s) for the Web site.
Examples might be government, academic, not-for-profit, association/society,
commercial, or research center/institute. |
| Last Evaluated: |
Date on which the site was last reviewed by a Thomson Scientific Web Content
Editor. The review consists of an examination of the site to determine the
site's conformity to the editorial selection criteria. (Note: Link checking
is a separate, automated activity that is performed on a daily basis.) |
