MARIE MCVEIGH
 
 

Marie McVeigh is currently the Senior Manager of the JCR and Bibliographic Policy at Thomson Scientific, where she is responsible for production and ongoing development of the Journal Citation Reports® and policy issues affecting the indexing of data for the Thomson citation databases.  Most recently, she has been studying the application of citation analysis and other aspects of journal usage to understanding the development of Open Access journals.

 

Marie graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with Bachelor’s degrees in both Biophysics and English Literature, and an M.S. in Cell Biology.  She began her career with Thomson in 1994 as Life Sciences Editor, managing journal selection and coverage  for the ISI Citation Databases and Current Contents.
